6 Hours intensive course
(2 X 3-hour lessons conducted over 2 days) price on application

12 Hours intensive course
(4 X 3-hour lesson conducted over 4 days) price on application

Please note you can not apply for your practical driving test unless you have your first learner's permit for at least 6 months and have completed the mandatory 12 EDT lessons.
​
A reduced Essential Driver Training (EDT) programme is available for foreign licence holders who can't exchange their licence in Ireland. It involves taking 6 driving lessons instead of the usual 12 and you don't have to wait 6 months to sit a driving test.
